Le Hoai Nam is a Managing Director at Nomura. He is on the panel of arbitrators of the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre. Previously, he was a lawyer with Shearman & Sterling in New York and Singapore, where he worked on a wide range of capital market transactions.

He was a member of the Young Advisory Board of the Global Capital Markets Center at Duke University School of Law and the Board of Editors of the Journal of International Business Transactions Law of Dong-A University (Republic of Korea).

He represented Vietnam in the Southeast Asia Rowing Championship in 1996 in Indonesia. He received an LL.B. from Hanoi National University, an LL.M. from Bond University, and a J.D. from Duke University.
