Frank Jao is a retired real estate developer. He immigrated to the United States in 1975 from Vietnam.
He later founded Bridgecreek Group, Inc., and is the principal developer of the “Little Saigon” community in Orange County, CA. As a real estate developer, he has earned many awards of civic and professional distinction.
He was a presidential appointee to the Vietnam Education Foundation (VEF) in 2002-2009 and Chairman of VEF in 2005-2006.
Mr. Jao served on the International Advisory Board at Chapman University and currently serves on the University of California, Irvine Foundation Board of Trustees.
Mr. Jao is the founder of the Jao Foundation. The Jao Foundation’s mission is to promote academic scholarship and cultural awareness and understanding.
