In July 2025, Dr. Dinh Vu Trang Ngan officially becomes President of Fulbright University Vietnam.
Dr. Dinh Vu Trang Ngan, a dedicated economist and long-serving member of Fulbright’s academic leadership team, has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to the university’s educational mission. She previously served as Vice President for Student Life.
A native of Hanoi, she is an alumna of Bates College, holds a Master’s degree from the University of Chicago, and earned her Ph.D. from the University of Cambridge (United Kingdom). Before joining the Fulbright Economics Teaching Program in 2008 – the predecessor of the Fulbright University Vietnam – she taught at Bates College. Her research focuses on applied microeconomics and social policy. At Fulbright, she teaches courses in macroeconomics, development policy, and an introductory seminar in public policy.
Since the university’s official establishment in 2016, Dr. Dinh has played a key role in designing and developing its undergraduate programs in liberal arts, sciences, and engineering.
