Vietnam stands at a critical juncture in its development.

Sustaining Vietnam’s socioeconomic transformation will require a transition to knowledge intensive sectors that deliver sustainable, broad-based economic growth. Meanwhile, like other societies, Vietnam confronts a raft of grand challenges ranging from climate change to urbanization to public governance.

Through education, innovation, andproblem solving, Fulbright University Vietnam aspires to play an important role in seizing the opportunities, and meeting the challenges, that lie ahead.

Fulbright University Vietnam maximizes its impact in the following ways:

Achieving Scale

Fulbright University Vietnam is modest in size today, but we won’t stay that way. By 2029 we aim to a scale up to approximately 3,000 degree-seeking students.

Proactive Collaboration

We contribute to Vietnamese education through proactive engagement and collaboration with institutions across the tertiary and K-12 systems. From international conferences on the liberal arts to teaching workshops for high school instructors, we strive to radiate new ideas across Vietnam’s education ecosystem.

Industry Engagement

We are pioneering new models of collaboration with employers to ensure that Fulbright students are prepared to thrive in the private sector. Our Venture Fellows Program creates immersive learning experiences that add value for industry partners

Problem Solving

We’re focused on helping Vietnamese society confront grand challenges. From urbanization and climate change to economic development and cybersecurity, our faculty, students, and partners share a passion for putting knowledge in the service of society.

A gift to Fulbright University Vietnam is an investment in Vietnam’s future.
