The Fulbright School of Public Policy and Management:
Vietnam’s first school of public policy, FSPPM is the foundation on which Fulbright was established. Established in 1994 as the Fulbright Economics Teaching Program, it was incubated by the Harvard Kennedy School until 2016, when it became the university’s first academic initiative. FSPPM serves the public interest throughgraduate level degree and executive teaching programs that blending global and local perspectives; evidence-based policy research on urgent public problems, and policy dialog that engages decision-makers and the public to promote better policy.FSPPM is accredited by the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration (NASPAA).
The Undergraduate Program in Engineering and the Liberal Arts and Sciences:
Inspired by the American liberal arts tradition, Fulbright’s undergraduate program prepares Vietnam’s most academically gifted students for lives of meaning and achievement. The four-year undergraduate program, which welcomed its first freshman class in the fall of 2018,empowers students to learn broadly and deeply through a curriculum that is designed for Vietnam. The program’s priority fields include engineering, computer science, Vietnamese studies, economics, and the arts. Through the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Fulbright students immerse themselves in Vietnam’s dynamic ecosystem of start-ups and social enterprises, acquiring skills and experiences they need to turn ideas into action.
